Sand Hollow State Park

Sand Hollow State Park, Utah

I anticipated there would be a beautiful sunset tonight, and I was right. The sky was also beautiful in the opposite direction from the sunset. This was taken at Sand Hollow State Park, about 20 minutes from our southern Utah home. (Just in case you are wondering, I combined a photo of the sky, taken with a 200mm lens, (that's why the moon is large), with a photo of the rest of the scene, taken with a 22mm lens. The colors are accurate to what I saw.)

When we lived near Lake Tarawera, that same colour would be on Mt Tarawera on a very cold evening, for those few magic moments. Your lens and your eyes capture it in nature's perfection,
