Wild Daisies

Wild Daisies

There is something so carefree and lighthearted about wildflowers growing where ever they choose with no apparent order and no concern that their closest neighbors are weeds!    I found these wild daisies near Sundance Ski Resort which is a short ride from my home.  (My grandmother cultivated this 'look' in her own flower garden and my Dad used to call it 'studied carelessness'.)

I love wildflowers. My Hubby could not mow down a daisy plant,so we used to have patches of wildflowers around.I must admit it was pretty, even if the neighbours didn't think so.

"Studied carelessness", I like that! I also love daisies.
Somebody that visits you came on my blog to tell me how to fit your blog onto my computer page! I went up into the upper top right-hand of the page where there are three horizontal lines, clicked on them and was able to reduce the size of your blog page from 100% to 67% so now it fits and I don't have to scroll back and forth! It does however make the font much smaller!

How could one be sad, when looking at a daisy.
Lovely image, Karen.

...and no concern for their neighbour weeds... I like that. The weeds add to the shot. Love the composition.
