Proud Mom and Grandma

You'll have to humor me for today's post.  I've been working on our Christmas letter and the collage of family photos I usually print on the backside of the letter.   I look back on the events of 2010 and give thanks for my many blessings and memories.  Since this is mostly a photography blog, I won't bore you with my family letter, but I must show off my amazing and wonderful family in order of age.
Our daughter Amber, her husband Will, and Issac, Vanessa and Sabrina

Our daughter Tiera, her husband Scott, and Taylor, Bennett, Owen and Chase

Our son Jaron, his wife Michelle, Sawyer, the little bunny who represents our Angel in Heaven Gavin,  and "Bucky" who arrives next month.  (Thank heavens Bucky won't be his name after he is born!)

Our son Dalin and his bride Emily

Our son Tyler and his bride Emily (yes, we have two Emilys!)

And putting it all together for our Christmas letter........
MERRY CHRISTMAS from THE LARSEN FAMILY 2010

Your family is absolutely beautiful and what a gret idea to put the collage on the back of your newsletter. that is one snappy tie in the first photo and shows a proud daddy. you are truly blessed with children and their children and thanks for letting me meet them

Oh, I'm looking in wonderment! Such a beautiful family, and you have been blessed with so many children and grandchildren, all so beautiful! Those kids are all just cute as a button!! I am an only child and we have a very small family, I always wanted a large one, with at least a sibling and some aunts and uncles.

I know it's PHUN around your house when they all get together. Nice job on the family portraits. I noticed that every one had just a touch of color except the very top one. Very interesting.

Karen, thanks for sharing your beautiful family with us. So many children and grandchildren to be thankful for and enjoy. And, I hope you are close enough to do just that for the holidays.

Best,
Bonnie

Actually Scott, all the photos have just a hint of color, except Jeff and I. If you want a group of photos to look 'coordinated' but they are all different, a great way to do this is to turn them all sepia, (or B&W) and if they have a smidge of a common color tone, bring out a hint of that in each one. This pulls random photos together nicely so they look like they go together. (Spell check says 'smidge' is not a word, but I know it is!!!!!)

What a good looking family. I love the subtle add of color in each. The plums are my favorite. (Cool tie, Will!)

Wow, what a beautiful family you have. When you say Emily do both turn to look? :-)

I love how you've done your collage, very nice. The individual shots are stunning as well, how could they not be with your subjects?

A very Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones as well.
