Sunday Creative

MATERIAL
A Sunday bonus!  It's not common for me to post twice on the same day, but I wanted to join Justine today.  (Be sure to jump over to her blog to see all her talented friends.)  She is getting our creative juices flowing with a one word prompt, and today that word is 'material'.  My definition of material, was 'fabric', and this is my interpretation.  This is a beautiful wedding quilt made by Jan, the groom's mother.  She is also very creative!

Quite an unusual photo! I've been staring at it for the longest time. And the other pucture below is just spectacular, as usual!!! Yes, I use new camera cards, too! My DIL tells me to put all the pictures on a C.D. and use the same card over to save money, but I think this is a better way to save them.

I'm sure that this will be a real treasure for the bride and groom and especially the groom's mother who made the quilt. But, since I can count on your candid view points on my photos - which I honestly appreciate - I'll tell you that for me this is just too busy. It makes my eyes tired trying to decide what to look at.

Hello Karen.
Thank you for your visit and your kind comments.
When i tried to return your visit, and see your work, I felt hopeless and for a moment i felt like I wanted to give up photography and close my blog. My kind of photography is totally unacceptable when I see what you can do when you hold your camera in your hands.
I also need to come back, and check every post of yours, read the advice and all the tips you have posted.
As for my work, it is not worth mentioning here... Just telling you I am a relatively new in this, started the blog one year ago to find something I like to do in my spare time, instead of sitting in front of a tv set.
The equipment I am using is not sophisticated either. A Nicon D60 DSLR with the 18-55 lens. I also use the Nikor 70-300 zoom lens (not AF).
And I try to catch what looks good and beautiful to my eye.
So this is how I see it more or less.
I am also following you from now on, and I have to come back to take some lessons from you.
It was a pleasure visiting your blog.
Have a great day.
