Coming Soon...I promise!!!

Daniel & Kenzie

It was a lovely wedding, and although the sky was gray, it did not dampen the spirits of this happy couple.  And today, it's a gray, snowy, Monday morning where I live and I just felt like taking a break from my 'normal' editing, and because I'm thinking in gray I wanted to have a little gray texture fun.  Don't worry D and K, your wedding photos will not be gray..... but I am including some great B and W shots.   And, you'll be happy to know I'm almost through!)

Wedding photography is most always a wonderful experience, getting to share probably the happiest moment in a couple's life, and making memories they will treasure forever.  But wedding photography can be stressful and unpredictable as well.  Take a look at a video where this wedding photographer was having a gray day I'm sure he would like to forget:

Two very expensive Cannons and flash, I wonder if they were ruined. I hope not. It's terrible how hard I'm laughing at his misfortune. I love how your shot looks like a faded newspaper photo. Nice job and it does look like the couple is much happier than the photo is.

Interesting! It looks like a picture from the newspaper! I just knew what was going to happen in that video, though I didn't know water would be involved! little Ella is here with me, she had had me play it several times to see the little flower girl in the background, who appears to be her age!!

OMG! i thought he would back into a person or a wall or fall, but never this. i wonder if he took the rest of the photos with his cameras wet. YIKES.

Oh dear! I had to review this to see if the camera got wet!!

The gray photo is lovely. I enjoy wedding photos even when I don't know the couple. Our son was married a year ago in Providence, RI in a centuries old church. The photographer did an amazing job--especially those photos shot with her Hasselblot (?--I know that is not the correct spelling but it was an amazing camera).

Thanks for sharing.

Best,
Bonnie

It's a Hasselblad camera.

It makes me wonder why whoever was shooting the video didn't warn the photographer unless he was counting on a winning submission for that World's Funniest Video TV show.

I hope we get to see more of the wedding soon!

Oh, my goodness! The poor guy in the fountain! Hope he didn't ruin his cameras!

Great effect on the photo Karen !

The video is funny on one level, but a disaster on another - he's wet and miserable, his camera(s) might be ruined, and the rest of the wedding has yet to be shot. Hopefully he got residuals on the AFHV series !

That was probably the baptismal font at the Church. How embarrassing!

PS - I'm as excited as D&K to see those pictures!

Oh no... that video is a wedding photographers nightmare. This is why you need back ups of everything, especially when you are backing up!
