The Importance of Bees
"If
the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe, then man would have
only four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more
plants, no more animals, no more man." This quote, or some variation
of it, is attributed to Albert Einstein. True or not, it is interesting
to think about.

A lovely picture and words that cause me to think.
It is essentially true--- It took me 70 years to get over my fear of bees-- Of course I avoid wasps, hornets, yellowjackets, etc, but bees are good people. Sometimes I have a very strong urge to pet a bumblebee that might wander by. That's probably not a good idea.
