I took these photos at the end of August and forgot to post them. This road is now closed due to two horrific fires in the area. I am sad to think about what these views might look like now!
A bad year for fires... and I'm afraid we will see more like this. But your pictures are lovely. They remind me of my college days when I drove from from the Bay Area to Provo-- all the way, overnight. It was Thanksgiving, and there was still lots of color...
These are so beautiful. Yes, it is sad to think that much of that may be destroyed. When I see the name Mt. Nebo,I have to smile.We have a Mt. Nebo close to where I live, but it is not that beautiful.It is more like a little ugly hill.At least the name is the same.LOL
