often find satisfaction in finding small glimpses of simple beauty that
go unnoticed by passers by who are looking for something spectacular to
photograph.
So true. Many folks are looking for the spectacular and miss the tremendous beauty at their feet. Both images are gorgeous.I may be partial to the pink flowers.

Karen, beautiful images! I think wild flowers are the best. They put on a show all by themselves without any help for man or beast!
Not sure what the top flowers are, but purple lupins, a great angle, and they can stand tall in their glory.
