Napali Coast, Kauai

Napali Coast, Kauai
as seen from Kalalau Lookout

We sailed in a catamaran to go snorkeling and then to view the Napali Coast, but the ocean was so rough and the sun so intense that there was no chance of taking any decent photos. But on another day I was well rewarded to get this view of the coast from Kalalau Lookout. This scene took my breath away! The soft overcast day and a polarizer filter on my camera lens really made the lush green foliage and brilliant aqua ocean pop with color.

Stunning. I have never visited Hawaii, but recently have wondered if I shouldn't plan a visit there. Carol

OMG this color of a landscape photo is totally amazing. Did you do some editing here? I really cannot fathom what i am doing wrong in mine, hehehe!

Yes, these were the colors I saw, but I have to say, that when I upload to blogger my photos seem more saturated than they actually are. Sometimes I actually reduce the saturation to make them more like they really appeared. Also, different computer screens change the color and exposure.
