Tiny Hiker
Photography has taught me to appreciate the small and simple vignettes in nature. While hiking in the mountains behind my home, I sat on a boulder to rest and take in the grand view of rugged Mt. Timpanogos. But I soon became fascinated watching this tiny little hiker, who was about a 1/4 inch long. It took him quite awhile to figure out where he was going.

I was teaching my kids on our first walks together that life is precious. Since taking on the photography bug, I've gotten a new appreciation for what I was trying to teach them.

Lovely macro. I wonder if the tiny hiker found his path very tickly as he moved slowly across this huge area for him?!
I wonder why your blog doesn't fit onto my computer screen? I have to scroll back and forth to see the whole image or do any reading. Some sort of incompatibility I expect. I have the same problem on a couple of other blogs in the USA.
Photography also showed me a lot of inhabitants under the leaves of plants, and also around it. This photo is awesome, as if there is no wind at all. It is almost the size of our stingless bees.
It sure is a little bug. Love the light on the puff ball.
