Wildfire smoke in Bryce National Park added even more color and drama to the sunset in this beautiful place.

Gorgeous images, Karen. The smoke adds drama.
The wildfires have been awful this year, so many are still burning. I hope the change of season helps extinguish them. We need rain.

I hate to see the forest fires, but the smoke does make for some fantastic shots.

I love visiting Bryce, but I'd have trouble with that much smoke. I'm allergic to formaldehyde which is found in wood smoke particulates. We've even had some haze (not as bad as in your photos) here in Breckenridge, and I've noticed a flair up of the allergy.

Karen, absolutely stunning images! We spent a lot of August under a smog cloud of smoke from forest fires too!

I've just been scrolling through your blog and catching up with all the beautiful posts that I have missed. Your photography never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for all the tips too. The smoke gives an unreal orange glow to the photos. In real life I find it eerie. You have ignited memories of my trip through the states a few years ago.
