A Peek at Zion

Zion National Park

Actually I don't know if I was in the park or not.  This was taken from a road outside of the park heading to Kolob Reservoir.  It was a beautiful drive and starts at the main road that goes through the tiny town of Rockville, just a few miles from the main entrance into the park.  There were signs along the way that said I was in the park, then out of the park, then in again so I don't know if I was in or out where I was standing to take this photo.  I am positive, however, that the rock formations in the background are in the park.

Every single day I wait for your posts to show up, so I can see what vision of loveliness will greet my hungry eyes! Karen, you are a master at photography, and this photo is AWESOME!! I love how I can see into the distance in this photo. The clouds add a lot too.

Mona, that is one of the nicest compliments I have ever received! Your encouragement is very much appreciated. However, I'm thinking you may change your mind if you saw the bizillion bad photos that get deleted! One more funny thing. I just looked at your last post of your spectacular bird shots. On the same outing as my post I saw a beautifully blue colored bird that I'd never seen before and tried to get a photo of it. It turned out blurry, head turned backward, etc. etc. When I saw it on my monitor I immediately sent it to the trash! Oh well!

Me too, I agree. The land formation in that area is amazing like your photos.
