Enjoying the Unexpected!

After taking the shot in my last post, I walked a bit to get another view, and the sky cleared up even more.

This was the best shot I could get with a zoom lens.  I didn't dare get too close because I was sure he could run faster than I could!

I looked and looked in yesterday's post and just could not figure out what I wasn't seeing. Now I know. Whew! That would be a pleasant surprise to find.

What a surprise and a great find for you! I love them both, but that second one steals the show! Beautiful light, beautiful reflection, beautiful animal!!

If you had gone looking for a moose you would never find one.

They are plentiful here but elusive to me. Stunning images and such a pleasure to visit here.

Yes yes yes Karen. You've had your moment here. and I'm so glad you've shared it with us.
The only comment I have left is a big beautiful deep sigh.
Hugs and happy weekend.

Sometimes it pays to hang around a little longer, walk on a little further, take a backwards glance ... You have the proof - great shots !

Had to chuckle at your last comment - perhaps he would have run toward you so you could get an even closer shot !
