WE HAVE RETURNED FROM OUR GREAT ADVENTURE!

Jeff and I have recently returned from an 18 month missionary assignment for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had the opportunity to live and travel in New Zealand and some of the other beautiful islands of the Pacific. We were immersed in it all...the beautiful scenery, the many different cultures, unique foods and customs, and we came home having experiences to remember forever and friendships that will last a lifetime. Even though we spent most of our time on missionary assignments, I found plenty of time for photography, and even though I shared many photos while we were gone, I still have many more to post of some of the most beautiful places on the other side of the world....not only New Zealand, but New Caledonia, Fiji, Tahiti, Moorea, Australia, Samoa. So, I'll continue to give you a glimpse of the places we saw and the people we met, interspersed with whatever I happen to be photographing currently.

Bellagio Conservatory

Bellagio Conservatory - Spring 2011

Today the colors outside my window range from dark gray to light gray to dirty white...... that is when I can see beyond the three foot long icicles hanging off the roof.  Sigh!  I came across the photos I took in Las Vegas while we were attending a car show prior to leaving for New Zealand in 2011.  I'm hoping these bright colors taken in the conservatory of the Bellagio will brighten my day.....and yours.

It's a gray day here as well, I truly appreciate your sharing of such colorful balloons! Beautiful, beautiful!

It's so nice to see color, the balloons are gorgeous; they look metallic.

Karen, thanks for the shot of colour! I really enjoyed it! I go into sensory deprivation at this time of the year. THe clouds roll in and stay for weeks on end and everything is drab. So a shot of colour really makes my day!
