We drove for 2 hours north to Whangarei (pronounced Fongaray wih a soft 'g') to go to a conference with other missionaries, both young and old. Afterwards we started home and saw a sign to Whangarei Falls. We drove about 10 minutes and right in the middle of town was a park with this beautiful waterfall.

if i were Jeanne I would blink myself to this spot. wow and wonderful. God's creation continues to amaze me over and over and free for the looking.
Karen, what a wonderful discovery!
Indeed, beautiful falls, especially for the middle of a city.
You don't have to go far to find beautiful scenery in NZ. Our camera club had Christmas break lunch today and I was sitting opposite 2 Kiwis. There are thousands of them here in Oz. We joke and say there is a sign at Aukland airport saying:"Would the last to leave turn out the lights."
So fun to catch up on your travels...your photography is beautiful! What an opportunity! God bless you!
I cant get over what you have captured. Outstanding .
