Temple Square Memories

'Starry' Night on Temple Square
Tonight will be my annual pilgrimage to Temple Square to photograph Christmas lights.  I hope to meet Scott, Chad and Lloyd for the first time - all blogging buddies who live in northern Utah.  I hope I don't freeze first!  It's supposed to be a cold night, so I'll put on about 50 lbs. of warm clothing, sling my camera around my neck and see if I can get in a few clicks of the shutter before my finger freezes! (Not sure if I've posted this image before, but it's one of my favorites.  Hope you like it.)

It would be fun for us viewers if all four of you had a shoot-off on one particular subject. It would be interesting to see the different takes from four individuals.

Sandra, nope, did not add the stars. Camera and lens did it for me!

Hmmm...this may be the photographic equivilant of Van Gogh's Starry Night!! We went out last night to see an outdoor Christmas event and I didn't take gloves because I knew I'd be taking so many pictures. It was in the twenties and my hands froze and went numb, they have never been so cold in my life!! Moral of this story: Take your gloves even if you will be snapping lots!

Looking forward to seeing the pictures from this photo shoot. It will be interesting to see what Karen sees vs. what Scott sees, as I follow you both.
