A Bleeding Heart - Today We Remember

A Life Too Short - Hearts That Ache
She was a pixie who loved bugs
Soon she became a beautiful young woman and an accomplished violinist
She loved and was loved by a large circle of family and friends
Then she found drugs
Now she is gone!

My sweet niece would have been 27 now, but today is the one year anniversary of her death.  Life is fragile and sometimes abruptly short.  Every day is a 24 hour gift.  Use each day you are given wisely and do not miss an opportunity to say, "You are wonderful", "I love you", or if necessary "I'm sorry, please forgive me".

It seems there are many bleeding hearts in your family and circle of friends today. I am so sorry to hear about this. A very young life with such potential lost is so sad.

Karen: So sorry to hear about your precious niece. Drugs rob families and, sometimes, the world from great potential.

Best,
Bonnie

Karen, I would so much love a copy of this. The flower is one of my favorites. The sentiments are beautiful. I hadn't cried all day until I read this. Thank you.

A tragedy - a young life snuffed out due to the scourge of drugs. May you be comforted by the thoughts of happy times shared with her. Thank you for the reminder to love those who are so precious to us and to not let any petty things get in the way. We are all just a heartbeat from eternity.

Thanks for sharing this with us Karen.

Love who yo uloe and say that you do. This is a line from the lyrics of a song from Rascal Flatss do look it up you'd love it (if your into country). Instantly it made me think of this when I read your post. Sorry about your beautiful niece.
Hugs Dagmar

What a fitting and beautiful image to remember your loved one who died so young and tragically. And you are so right: we need to speak words of love as often as possible.
