Lights Peas....I mean Please!

A Chorus Line of Peas
I went out to pick peas early this morning, and the sun was shinning just perfectly to light up these sweet little peas in their pods.   Sure made it easy to spot them!  Now if only I could think of something profound to go with this photo.   Hummmm.....how about.......   "This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine."  Nope, too corny.  (I bet Stacey Dawn would have the perfect quote!)

I don't think you need a quote for this images. It's beauty shines so well no words are needed.

Great catch. You have such a skilled eye, I do love the silhouette of the growing peas inside the pod.

I saw the title and laughed.

Saw the image - and said (out loud to the computer screen) How beautiful!

Saw the writing about me and a quote and cracked up!

How about this one: "Light gives of itself freely, filling all available space. It does not seek anything in return; it asks not whether you are friend or foe. It gives of itself and is not thereby diminished." ~Michael Strassfeld

The backlit pea is filled with deliciousness - in more ways than one!! Oh - to eat a pea pod straight from the vine! Yum!!

You are too sweet - totally made my day. Thanks!

I agreed with you right away that Stacey would have the perfect quote, and of course in comments she does. I thought Chorus Line of Peas was the perfect quote, the photo is wonderful, as are all of your photos. When i see your wonderful photos and edits, i feel a little intimidated about mine. Just when I think I got a good photo I come here and see what Really Good Photo's look like. I love the pea pods a lot.

Love this light-filled photo . . . the title . . . and "this little light of mine"!

Ah, the lowly garden pea - one of life's simple pleasures. You caught the light as it caught the pea, perfectly! Great shot Karen!

Glad you liked the quote Karen!

Great shot Karen. Isn't nature great, it even provides you with an x-ray to tell if the peas are ready.
