THE SACRED GROVE

Oh how lovely was this spring morning as we strolled slowly through the beautiful woodland.  The rebirth of vibrant new life above and all around us danced with the breeze.   In sharp contrast were the dead and decaying remains of a past life, crushed below our feet.  To us, symbols with another meaning.  We ponder the wonder of it all and whisper a simple prayer of love and thanksgiving.

Hi Karen thanks for leaving me comments during colour week.

This image could be just around the corner here in my neck of the woods.
Love the stillness....
Great great shot.

What a slice of heaven!

This image reminds me of my grandparents - they posed in front of a big tree in the middle of a forest like this... the smiles on their faces, the love for each other - the scene - was perfect. Still have the photo!!

What a beautiful, idyllic spot Karen. I love the colour, the light, and the framing you gave it!

OH wow, this is magnificent. I would love to sit here and just be still and listen to all of the sounds of the forest...

Great composition with the heavy tree on the left and then all the younger ones on the right. Excellent job on vignetting the corners keeping the focus of light to the center. I expect Joseph to step into the center any minute. Beautiful!
