Cascade Springs, Utah

Cascade Springs, Utah

Gold, rust, burnt orange, red, yellow, green.....fall colors are my favorites. I wear these colors, I decorate my house in these colors, I drive a car painted one of these colors. I think this would be my favorite time of year, except that my mood is somewhat dampened when I remember that this beautiful season will eventually turn into a gray, white, colorless winter, at least here in northern Utah! This is another shot of Cascade Springs near Mt. Timpanogos.

THANK YOU FRIENDS FOR CONTINUING TO STOP BY! I've been negligent in visiting your blogs, and I hope to be around soon. I've been super busy and the free time I have had lately, I've spent it out taking photos before the weather turns cold and there is snow and ice on the ground.

Impressive shot Karen. The colours and the tiered movement of the water make for an interesting scene. You are so right about the colourless winters but I hope that does not keep you indoors. Don't forget that photographers see the world differently.

I love your fall. Down here, we have no such season. It's just less hot.

Andy, I know there are wonderful photos waiting to be taken in winter, but as I get older I get cold very easily and when I'm cold I'm miserable!!!! Haha.

Enjoy these fabulous UT scenes while they last, Karen. Fall in the West is a gorgeous time. This photo is amazing.

Another beautiful shot. It is funny how Autumn colours are warm colours and yet Autumn itself is not that warm.

So beautiful. I love the framing of the leaves overhead.
